Terez Hartmann at www.RockMySpirit.com shared these tips with the audience on Change Thrivers Show that aired on Oct. 18, 2010:
If you have just experienced change and are ready to allow yourself to start feeling better, try creating a mind-shift list. Putting better feeling thoughts in writing can be a huge assist in keeping you in a good space (if you haven't yet generated much negative thought around it) or help you to quickly generate some positive momentum to move toward a change you WOULD choose sooner rather than later. By quickly embracing (rather than resisting) change, you move back into the driver's seat of allowing the kind of change you WANT!
Below are some sample questions to get the feel-good ball rolling. Feel free to answer as many or as few of these according to what feels good to YOU or even allow these questions to inspire your own mind-shift list:
• What could be the upside to this?
• What are some things I've always wanted to have/do that could be possible now?
• What kind of changes have I been really wanting and how could this fit in to that picture?
• If this happened to a friend and my intention was to help her/him feel better, what would I say to her/him?
• What is or could be funny about this?
• If I could write a story/script about how this change transformed my life in an amazing way and who/what it enabled me to become and experience, what would be my story?
