Run For the Fallen

22 Aug 2011 | Posted Under Military

Announcement:

Connie Gee, Vice President of Med-Vision, sang the national anthem for the “Run For the Fallen” memorial, held at E.G. Simmons Park on August 21 in Tampa.  After belting out The Star-Spangled Banner, Gee participated in the 5K/1 mile run and walk to honor the men and women in the military whom have lost their lives in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.  There were 603 crosses laid to honor the fallen service members from the Tampa Bay area.  Across the country, over 8,300 participants ran over 49,000 miles as part of the nationwide “Run for the Fallen” event.  More information is available at www.runforthefallen.com.
