Coaching
is a powerful way to increase your business and your bottom line. It can be
used to grow your overall business, or for a particular project, whether it’s
writing a book, marketing it, developing a product line, or figuring out a
business model, for example.
When I
decided to create a collaboration book, I wanted to make sure I did everything
I could to make it as successful as possible, so I decided that I would bring
an advisor or coach on board-someone who was better at marketing and more
successful than I am.
Now,
to be fair, I’m no slouch. I have done telesummits that have brought in between
$16,000 and $20,000 for me. But, I’ve had my share of duds too over the years,
so I wanted some extra insurance.
So
whether you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed, or you just want to be ore
successful, here are 4 reasons why you should consider hiring a coach.
1. Get
knowledge without trial and error. When you hire a coach who has done what
you are trying to do, they already know the best solutions to the challenges
that arise, so you don’t have to spend a lot of time researching the answers,
all you have to do is ask so you spend less time working on your project to get
the results you desire.
2.
Avoid undo stress and overwhelm. There is always more than one way to do
anything online, which can lead to stress and overwhelm when you are trying to
decide which way to go. And I don’t know about you, but when I have to
make technical decisions like how to set up my funnel, for instance, my
eyes can glaze over. I can’t think because I get brain freeze. Having
someone to bounce your ideas off of can alleviate a lot of this.
3.
Save money. When
you have an advisor or coach, you will save money, both by avoiding costly
mistakes and by getting access to their expertise and perhaps their marketing
research and marketing research can be costly (as well as time consuming); you
can use the research done by your advisor or coach. (Of course, this only
works, if you work with someone who is targeting the same market that you are
going after.)
4. Get
access to coveted resources. When
you work with someone who has done what you are trying to do, often times, they
will share their best resources with you. These are resources that, most
likely, they have developed over a period of years and these resources are
usually the best and at the most reasonable prices
For
instance, I have gone through several press release writers and VA’s on Fiverr
and I have found a couple of excellent ones that I now use on a regular basis.
I do not share them with everyone because, to be honest, I don’t want them to
get so busy that they don’t have time for me. But, I do use them for my best
clients. BTW: the best people on Fiverr usually charge more than
$5!) Sometimes, they are not the most affordable, but they will give you a
better deal because of your connection to an expert that sends them a lot of
business so you get higher quality resources at a discount.)
If
you’re feeling stuck and overwhelmed, or you just want more profits from the
work you are doing, hire a coach if you want fast results. If you’d like to
work with me, I have a few slots open. I only work with a few people at a time
one-on-one and you must be serious. So if that’s you, I’d love to talk with you
