Twelve years ago my mentor taught me It is not who you know but who knows you and what you can do for them.
Well I was very upset to say the least. I was proud to be called the Networking Queen at that time. I often attended multiple networking meeting a day (sometimes four of them). So I thought it was wonderful that knew all these local executives, entrepreneurs and experts.
Not to mention my database of thousands of executives and business owners in North America and the Caribbean I had worked with over 20 years.
I knew them but did they know me? Did they know what I could do for them? Not really.
So I set out on a mission to change that scenario. I became so obsessed with this new insight I decided to create a platform where others could showcase their expertise so decision makers would know what they can do for them in minutes.
